Website Launch!

It’s been a long time coming

For all of the projects I’ve been involved with one I was afraid of starting was this website. I thought to myself “Self, this seems a little pointless when everyone follows everything through social media these days anyway. Is it worth it?” Invariably, I’d tell myself no. I have for the last two years. After consulting with a few far more tech savvy friends of mine, they finally convinced me that I should get this off the ground, if for nothing else than the vanity of having it all in one spot for me to see and remember.

If you don’t know me or what I’m about, that preamble probably seemed pointless. If you do happen to know me, welcome! My name is Killian Hobbs and I am an author among other things. I’m a Canadian Libertarian best known for my book Bad Arguments: A Guide to Logic & Winning Debates and my podcast Coffee Shop Philosophy. I currently work as the Managing Editor for Being Libertarian, Editor-in-Chief for Think Liberty, and a contributor to the Vermin Supreme Institute. I’ve been published by several sites over the years and have had guests on my podcast ranging from minor internet celebrities to Gubernatorial and Vice Presidential candidates.

I also work as a writer and narrator for Stateless productions contributing and narrating The Monopoly on Violence. If you don’t know me from any of these works I hope you’ll find the time and interest to look into them. If that’s not your thing you can also follow me on Facebook linked in the About page if you’re more into memes and my insufferable puns.

That all out of the way, I plan to use this site to showcase some of the most recent things I’ve been working on, share ideas that are a tad too long-winded for your average Facebook post or tweet, and to open a more involved dialogue with those that are new to what I do or have supported my efforts over the years. To any and all of you, I thank you and I hope the visits here will be worth your time.
